Hello everyone, this is Dr. Kawamitsu, the LFC representative! I’m writing this blog today on Sunday, February 15th, and it’s been warm since I last came to work this morning, wearing only short sleeves.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We’re in the middle of professional baseball training camps in Okinawa, and there are many tourists wearing baseball uniforms. How are you all doing?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Today’s blog is about an event that only happens once every few decades to a century, which happened at our Ginowan clinic.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Have you heard of the succulent plant called “agave”? It’s also known as the “century plant,” and the agave at our Ginowan clinic, which only blooms once every few decades to a century, has finally bloomed.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

When I looked into the country of origin of this agave, I found that there are around 300 species, found in Mexico, the southwestern United States, and South America, and it is also used to make tequila.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The flower language of agave is said to be “noble lady” and “delicate,” which apparently comes from the fact that it takes so long to grow. That’s exactly what happened to my wife. LOL!!<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Also, because they rarely bloom, seeing their flowers is said to be a sign of happiness.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

And because they only bloom once in a lifetime, they’re also said to be a symbol of generational change. It may be time for a generational change at LFC as well. I’ve always wanted someone else to take over the clinic, so I thought this would be a good time.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
